Okay, I got a Note 2 and have been using that rooted and Eclipse ROM and loving it but not sure about the size. I have my S3 still and wanted to root it. It is not activated and I think I screwed up. I was able to install recovery with Odin and did a factory reset, wiped everything, then installed Eclipse for the S3, but now I get the triangle of death (return to verizon). I am able to get back into Odin and successfully have recovery installed, but it won't let me go into recovery, still get the triangle.
My guess is when I reset to factory I wiped out the ota update to 4.1.1. What do I need to do to get phone back to factory, install the update, then with Odin root and install recovery with Rom then?
What do I need to do to fix the phone and then root without screwing this up again lol?
