So I have a 4g samsung phone with sim card. I have a S3 on order. When I get my S3, do i use my sim card from my charge, or use the new one.

Also, i have another s3 on order for an upgrade that I am wanting to sell online. Do i sell it with the sim card that it comes with, or does the user get his own sim card? thanks

That sim car is yours, the buyer has his.

thanks. so if the buyer doesn't have a sim card, and is getting my new phone, how does he get a sim card? and what do i do with the sim card that comes with my phone? is that registered to me with the sale, and if so, i now have 2 sim cards.

I had the Charge and got the Galaxy Nexus. The Charge uses a regular SIM card but the GN uses a micro SIM card so I received a new one with the phone and it replaced my older SIM card which is basically just throwaway now. I assume the S3 uses micro SIM (?) so you'll be in the same boat. In the future you'll just swap cards when old and new use the same type. FYI, you can get a micro SIM to SIM adapter such that the micro SIM can be usable with, say, your Charge. Obviously you can go backwards, much like using a micro SD in an SD slot with an adapter.

The buyer of your other phone will need to walk into a Verizon store with the new phone and request a SIM card if he/she doesn't already have one (ie. coming from a 3g phone). I'd hold onto the SIM card that comes with that phone as it will be registered to the line you're using for the upgrade. Don't give it away with the phone, and don't throw it away.
