Activating a Pre-Rooted Phone on VM

Hello, I recently purchased a prerooted LG Optimus V for my virgin mobile carrier off ebay, with Gingerbread 3.2.4. I successfully swapped to my new phone however whenever I try to activate it I have no luck. I have of course tried entering the ##VIRGIN# as well as searching for the preinstalled activation app that is normally included. I'm afraid because its rooted and running a ROM that it no longer has either of these features. I'm hoping that it is still possible for me to activate my phone post rooting, without having to wipe it and return it to stock because I would not have the slightest clue on how to do that safely. Any insight into this issue would be greatly appreciated!

You will need to return it back to stock,it is the only way,i hate to tell you you should have not purchased or purchase any smartphone that has not been returned to stock, also has this phone been deactivated by the previous owner.
