activation to virgin mobile

Can I activate a boost mobile lg marquee phone and activate it with virgin mobile ?
 
Yes and no.


You can flash a Boost phone to Virgin (or Sprint) but ...


It requires a separate donor phone to acquire a legal serial number. Buying a 2nd phone makes the process cost prohibitive as in the end you will have only 1 usable phone.
