Help Active notifications - choose an app?

One thing I've noticed about active notifications is that the swipe up only allows you to open one app. If there are multiple apps that have posted notifications, you can't seem to choose which app to open - the phone displays only a single app, I assume the latest app to post a notification.

Has anybody discovered a way to choose to open a specific app from this, or is it only unlock to the app the phone has chosen with a swipe up or to the homescreen (or latest running app) with a swipe down?

My experience is the same as yours. Looks like that is by design which is why it only puts the most recent notification app on top when you press the circle. The others are moved to the bottom which means you have to swipe down to get to those. But all that does is take you to the homescreen.

You know what would be an amazing developer adaptation of the notifications? Small icons show up where they do now but one for each type of notification. When you place your finger on the notification the dotted line goes up and you trace your finger up to the circle for the notifications all of the notifications that you have branch off from that circle with dotted lines so that you can slide out to the one that you want to see. That way the notifications that you've not seen would remain. Does that make sense?
