Sorry to hear but he was found dead in his NY City apartment...one source said from a Heroin overdose.

A real shame. It was felt especially rough in my home city since he was from here. A great actor who had demons he couldn't overcome. Rip

So sad. He was the protagonist in one of my favourite ever films: Synecdoche, New York. A masterpiece. Particularly poignant now in light of his death.

It is sad. He was a really good actor. I guess he still had the needle in his arm when they found him. Heroin is becoming a horrible epidemic in this country. What a waste.

When I heard about it, I couldn't believe it. I had no idea he was into heroin, then again he was a talented actor, so he probably could disguise his addiction quite well. He was one of my favorite actors too. R.I.P.
