I was disappointed to discover that Skype only has voice calls available at the current moment on my Android phone.

Is there an application that provides real video conferencing?

I've the same issue. You have Skype, Fring, Tango, but as far as I know these things do not work for video calls between a mobile and a laptop (or am I wrong ?)

It would be great to find an appl (like Skype) to use video calls between a mobile and a laptop.
