how can i transfer apps to galaxy s 3

You could try backing them up to an SD card with something like Titanium Backup. Then install TB on your other phone and restore them again. Otherwise, I think that if you sync your app data to your google account (setting>accounts>sync), I think it automatically restores them if you log in with your other phone and set up sync...(but i'm not certain. Anyone know?)

When you activate your S3, sign in to your Google account that you have used to purchase all of your apps in the Google Play store.
When you go in to the play store on the new phone, you can press the menu button, then choose "my apps." A list of your apps will appear and you can download and install them as desired.
