Help Add a number to my Reject List not working?

I've been getting a LOT of calls from Michigan/Washington and couple other states and have added them to my "Add to Reject List" option, then deleting the number. Yet, these same number keep calling and showing up on my phone a LOT. This drains the battery and is a headache! What is the point of that REJECT feature if that keeps happening? This is pissing me off! :mad:

I want those numbers BLOCKED and gone!!! Anyway to do this via apps or?
 
I ended up creating a contact called "Telemarketer" and just add all unwanted numbers to that contact. That contact is set up to automatically send all calls to voice email
 
I have an app called Reverse Lookup that seems to do a very good job of remembering Blocked Numbers.

you definitely do NOT want to ever answer one of those calls, it is a computer trying to figure out if a "human" owns that telco number. if you answer, your number is added to a telemarketing list.

I used to resort to hitting the # key over and over until the offending computer hung up. at least that one never called back again.

I finally had to change my phone number... wasn't too hard of a decision for me, as I had moved from Arizona to Oklahoma.
 
I haven't answered any of them and won't. I just want to block them so I don't get the same calls over and over again... very annoying.
 
Reverse Lookup will let you manually lookup a number, shows you the owner, and even if not listed, it reports from forums, etc... who the number belongs to even if unlisted...

then you can still put it on the blocked list.
I like the app, use it a lot.

So when you view the rejected lust
 
So when you view the reject list they show there but are still getting through? That is weird. I am on Verizon and don't have that trouble. Maybe see what your carrier says about it. Mary

I will probably end up doing that as the S5 native "Add to Reject List" does not work and it should.
 
Thats all I can think of is a carrier issue or a factory reset. Who ever your carrier is see if they have any forums on their website to check if others are having this problem. Mary
