Add Contact launches camera

When in contacts, I select Add contact from base menu and my camera launches. I looked at applications, quick launch with no luck to correct.
Ideas?
 
Go to the Applications part of your Settings menu. Find the Camera app. Try clearing all defaults for that app. It's possible that somehow the camera app is just set as the default for something.

Then, try adding the contact. If the above worked, you'll likely get a pop-up with a choice of which app to use. There'll be a box at the bottom to save your choice as the default.
 
It the above doesn't resolve it are you using a Launcher Pro widget? If so is it set to launch the camera in error?
