Help Add widget to small app issues...

I'm trying to add widget to the small apps list, when I tap the + sign and choose add my own widget, it tries to load the widget list but before it is done, an error message said "Unfortunately, Small App Widget has stopped."

What should I do? I tried to clear the cache / data, stop the app, reboot the Small App Launcher, but it still doesn't work.

Strange one this.

I tried mine and it worked OK with a number of widgets.

Did you try clearing the data and cache in the Manager as well?

Yes, I tried many times cleaning the cache but still doesn't help.

Maybe I should wipe my phone?

Are you using the standard launcher, not something like Nova for instance?

No, I'm using Next 3D Launcher.

I tried to switch to standard launcher but the same thing still happened.

Someone told me to boot the phone in safe mode and see if it works.
I was able to add widgets to the small apps while in safe mode (and the added widget is also displayed when booted in normal mode as well).
That means there are some apps I installed not compatible with the small app...but since when I got the Z2, I installed all of the old apps that I used to have on my old phone, so I can't tell which apps actually caused such problem...
