I am trying to get into a group chat on an outdated Android version (4.1.2) on a Galaxy ZTE (Z750C) using Straight Talk. I downloaded Textra, but for some reason it said my MMS settings were not set.
I did some research and it said that this is a common problem for Straight Talk users. All the guides say to follow this one path in the settings, which my phone doesn't have that exact path. They say to go to: Settings > Wireless Connections > More > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names, but if I go to more, the only option is VPN. There is a separate tab for Mobile Networks in the main settings page, but there are only 4 settings there that seem to be completely unrelated to my problem. How do I add a new APN?
I did research a while ago and it seems that my phone cannot be rooted.
If I try to update my Android version by going to Settings>About Phone>System Updates, all it says there is: "Please copy update package to root directory on storage card, then click OK button."
Any ideas?
If you need any more info, then just ask.
