Adding an application to Android Market

I've been looking for information on how to add an application to the Android Market: is there an application? what's the process? I read somewhere you just had to sign up as a merchant and post your applications ... where do we do that? anybody knows?
We entered the Android contest and have an application ready to go and with huge commercial potential, can someone tell us where to go to submit our application to the Android Market?
Cheers !

Excellent question... There MUST be a way to submit them before launch...

What is the basic ieda of your app if you don't mind me asking!

In regards to the App market. So far I have only heard the word 'Free' does anyone know if the market will carry pay-for-play titles and what if any royalty is T-Mobile going to charge authors?

Also will there be a unified market that covers all Android phones or will each carrier (ie t-mobile, sprint, etc..) have their own site?

Inquiring minds want to know.

I am sure there will be an android standard market. But there will also be a 3rd party market app that will rise above the rest and become the "standard" free market. With the use of repositories it will be cross carrier no problem.

Due to the uncertainties around Googles Marketplace we've started an 3rd Party marketplace so that developers can list their apps and users have somewhere to go from the day the G1 hits the streets.

If you'd like to list your app or see it please visit http://andappstore.com/

Hello.
I'm also wondering how to submit apps to the Android marketplace. I don't seem to be able to find anything on it and though it is also a good idea to submit it though a third part marketplace, I would also like to do through the official Android's marketplace.
If anybody knows anything...
Thanks very much
