Adding music crashes phone

When I try to add my music to my Milestone, certain songs will stop the process and crash my phone. The only way to fix the problem is to pull the battery and restart the phone. Only certain individual songs cause this problem, and it has nothing to do with iTunes DRM protection, I added these from CD's. Any ideas on how to fix this?
 
I think that it may be a problem with the specific SD card, I put in an old one that I had replaced because it wasn't always detected. I'll call my phone company to see if they have any input
 
Cheers for posting back your solution. Have you checked that these files arent corrupted in some other way? can you copy them back to a pc/mac and listen to them?
