Address Book: Delete Non-gMail Contacts Entries?

PeteCress

I finally caved in and copied all my contacts to gMail.

"Copied" and not the hoped-for "Moved" because my address book now shows two entries for each person: the original, and the one on gMail.Contacts.

Is there a way to batch-delete the old ones? Or is it going to be onesies-twosies - with emphasis on the first?

There's usually an option to select which contacts you allow the phone to display.

In such a case, you'd unselected the "phone" contacts

What device as we talking about?

I guess that's the workaround - but I'd prefer to get rid of them to avoid future confusion.

10.1" Samsung Note N8013.... and, if/when it gets back from warranty repair, an N7000.
