Hey guys,
I have the Samsung Galaxy Note with GB 2.6.
Now here is the deal, up until the other day I have been really careful, I mean really careful with watching what I install, update, add, and remove from my droid. However that all came crashing down on me after a week of insomnia, I was becoming delirious and I went on an install spree of just trying out a ton of new apps to keep my mind occupied during this bout of no sleep. The problem is that I now have an app (I am assuming its an app) on my droid that is now causing me to get adds pushed into my notification drop down window. I don't see it on the notification bar at the top itself but when I pull down the window to look at all the items in my notification window, I now see ads in there... well it's just one ad, and I will not click it, I will just "clear" the notification window in hopes it goes away.
My question to you guys is, "Is there anyway of tying that assumed pushed ad to an app on my Note?" I know the easy thing many people will say which is, just uninstall some of the apps that are new and see if this goes away. The problem with that is that I added so many new apps that I absolutely love, and I really don't even know where to begin. This being the case, I was hoping there would be some kind of app that I could install that would give me a way to trap the calls to push these ads, or perhaps, I seem to recall that there was an app that we could install that should somehow block these as well there was a site we could opt ourselves out from these. I do not recall much about these. Either way, if the collective brains here could pool together and give me a fighting chance with out yanking all the apps off my phone, I would really really appreciate it. If anyone would like or needs any additional information, please let me know and I will update ASAP, as soon as I see the request.
I have all the confidence that you guys will come up with a quick solution as I have yet to be disappointed with any of the help you guys have given me in the past, and I don't think this time will be any different!!
Thanks all!!
