Advance Task Killer

I am confused. Some people swear by it. Others say "No way Jose."

I used it on my Moto Droid and sort of got in the habit of killing apps every so often, especially after using one.

Should I not use it for the X???

I want to best possible performance out of the phone and battery but don't know what to do.

i often use it on my Desire to clean the memory after running a lot of apps. i don't feel it's absolutelly necessary that i use it all the time, but it's welcome when i'm running low on memory.
