Advanced graphics games

So far the best games come in the form of emulators out there. I was having a pissing contest with an iphone owning freind of mine when we came to games. He showed me the wing-commader-esqu game with on-screen controls and incredibly good graphics.

I just haven't seen anything like this yet on android. Am I just not looking in the right places or it just isn't happening yet? I realize with all the positive press android has been getting lately that it would only be a matter of time, but patience has never been one of the my strongest virtues.

An update for Raging Thunder was just released which now has Droid support. The developer, Polarbit AB have a handful of other 3D games that look good, but not sure if they are working on the Droid yet. Going to test now
