Advanced Task Killer help

maybe some one can help me. i just got an droid x from Verizon, they downloaded adv. task killer fro and by accident i uninstalled it. then when i reinstalled it the app it worker differently. when verzion did it, when i clicked on the app it automatically killed the apps but now when i click o the app it takes me inside the app and then i have to click "kill selected apps" manually. how can i make the app work like verzion did it. plz help

Sound like you currently have a shortcut to the app on your homescreen. What you had before was the widget. Give that a go

Personally I wouldn't use one, because android developers suggest not to, as do all of these people:
