Advice on Upgrading PC

Hi,

I built my first PC coming up to five years ago now, it's ran great but I might be coming into a few hundred pounds soon and need some advice on the best upgrade to get.

Current PC Spec is -

I use it for PC gaming and it's struggling to run the most modern games, It manages Witcher 3 on medium graphics settings but struggles at the moment with Arkham Knight.

Ideally I'd like to upgrade the CPU, GPU and the RAM, but then only having a 500W PSU might become an issue. Plus managing to do all three for 200 to 300 quid won't be easy.

Any advice?

These should make a fairly big difference within budget, the CPU should be fine, as what you need is more graphics grunt, the extra RAM can't hurt.

You didn't say which version of Windows you're running, but as long as it's a recent one, you'll be fine.

PSU: overkill option https://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Components/Power+Supplies/Modular+700-950W/Corsair+RMi+Series+750W+Fully+Modular+Power+Supply+?productId=63956 (£118.99)

PSU: sensible option https://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Com...X+80PLUS+Bronze+Power+Supply+?productId=51730 (£78:19)

RAM: https://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Com...annel+Kit+[CML8GX3M2A1600C9]+?productId=45511 (£59.40) Use he spare memory slots on that board.

Thanks very much for that, its exactly the advice I was looking for, the sensible PSU was one of the options I had looked at recently.

Im thinking if I upgrade to that card and upgrade the RAM I might be able to get by for now on the 500W PSU i've got at the moment. might even have the money spare to add a small SSD drive for my games.
