ADW Launcher Woes

I've downloaded ADW launcher, and it looks like a pretty spiffy home replacement, but the version I have differs from the videos I see on youtube. Specifically, I can't change the number of screens I have, and I can't add more than 5 icons in the dock.

Under ADW settings, I should be able to add more home screens under "screen preferences," but the only options I have there are Hide StatusBar, Wallpaper Scrolling, Hide icon labels, Auto Stretch, Desktop Columns, Desktop Rows, Desktop scrolling speed, and Desktop overshoot. None of these allow me to change the number of homescreens.

The other issue I have is that I want to add more dock positions than the max of 5 allowed in the settings. Some videos reviews I've seen show this is possible by dragging and dropping icons into the app drawer icon, but when I try this, it just replaces the app drawer icon with whatever I've dragged there, instead of expanding like it should.

Anyone have any insights? I'm running 2.1 non-rooted on a Samsung Captivate.

Alright, I figured out the dock problem, I'll attribute that to user error, but I still can't adjust the number of homescreens.

Menu Button then Edit then Hit the (+) Button..will add homescreens there

When I select (+), I only have the option to add Launcher Actions, Shortcuts, Custom Shortcuts, Widgets, Folders, and Wallpapers. Nothing about adding more homescreens.

You pressed "Add" instead of "Edit". When you press Menu, and tap "Edit" you can modify the home screens including adding additional screens (+), remove screens (-), move screens around (> <), and set the default screen (!).
