Root Adw launcher

is there any way to get this to work on our Behold 2's? i seen it on the xda site and he says the way to load it is to place the zip file in the root of your SD card go into recovery and flash it. our recovery isnt working where we can flash zip files so I was wondering if there was a way to adb push it?

don't know how well it works on the behold, but...open up the zip, open folder that says app, copy launcher.apk to desktop or where ever and do the following:
adb push Launcher.apk /system/app/

it will be overwriting the stock launcher, so don't blame me if something goes wrong, might need to push old launcher back so back it up!

You could try naming it something else before you push it. That should keep it from over writting the stock android launcher

I have it on my phone. Is it new on the Market? I just got it there.

Yeah i just searched for it and downloaded ADW Launcher off the market. I have the R12 1.6 Galaxy rom installed on my phone.

yeah, it's available through the market now. And it's pretty sick on my 1.6 take5 rom. faster than advanced launcher for sure. i'd imagine it being even better on the galaxy roms.

Give launcher pro a shot. Its the fastest I've ever used.

Also when replacing apk's make sure to delete the associated .odex file unless your system is d'odex'd
