Help ADWLauncher

Im new to Android phones, this is my first one, so far im rooted and have the A2tude ROM. I got ADWLauncher EX and cant get it to work as my default launcher, is there a trick to this, i have been through the settings so many times its unreal. How can i get this as my default launcher without clicking on the icon everytime??????

I had to do this once or twice when I was using GOLauncher ex.

Go to settings>applications>manage applications>click all (at the top)>then click Huawei Launcher>then DE-select default(or clear default)> then back out and select your launcher and hit default. ( or just hit home after deselecting for huawei launcher and click make this default.

Thanks, now if i can get CM7 to install i'll be good to go!!!
