Is there such a thing that actually works and how does it work/fit to the phone.I'm getting desperate for some signal and well jealous of friends and family having some when i don't.It's always my phone that has none.

It's a shame that afterspending all that money they don't put a decent one in my phone.I'd gladly pay an extra

Thx for your reply but as i have no idea how to do that,i've decided to put up with what i've got until either the Nexus 6 comes out and give thata try or even better,Androis silver makes an appearance and i can purchase a vanilla(ish) reliable handset froma higher class manufacturer.

Android L might sort it out anyway then if you're going to hang on, I've seen a few people have flashed that radio and it works better. (I've been running the preview and I've definitely got a better signal compared to 4.4.4)

Well, I don't know about you, but I realised at some point that 3UK has rubbish signal coverage in most places, particularly indoor. Had signal issues not only with my old S3, but with the Nexus 5 and other phones too. Heck I don't even get one signal bar in my sitting room too.

Guess I'll have to switch operator.

No issues with three where I am, 4G and all that jazz. Signal is a lot better than it was with O2.

I agree. I have found Three to be excellent in all respects:
- value for money (I'm on 3-2-1)
- reception - no problems and the 4G coverage appears to be extending rapidly
- customer service/support - despite being Indian call centres, they speak excellent English and have a faultless knowledge of technical matters.

I have also discovered that Three are the only company NOT to lock smartphones when taken out on a contract! Naturally, you are expected to complete the contract, but there is nothing to stop you inserting and using a different SIM.

That depends though. When I got the S3 two years ago, mine was network locked.

It really depends on the batch I guess. Anyway, Three has great deals, that's true, but here where I live the coverage isn't good enough.
