Hello Brilliant AF members,
My question is how is Android Forums members ranking calibrated?
Is the lowest number considered the highest rank or vice versa? My membership rank was 200 or less one day and now I'm ranked as 220. Am I getting better or worst at answering/ helping with inquiries posted?

Rank is based on member trophy points, earned for posts, likes, best answers, and other various forum activity. The lower the number, the higher your rank. I believe trophies are awarded in a batch process overnight, so if a few of the thousands of members earned a trophy to surpass your count, then that would explain a 20 position drop. That said, you are at 474 posts at this time, and when you hit 500 posts you earn another 25 Trophy Points, which for you would be almost a 25% increase and will probably move you closer to the top. There really aren't a lot of members with 500+ posts.

Ok this helps a lot because I thought I was giving incorrect information if my ranking was decreasing. But I see now how it's calculated. Thanks!!
