Recently on a work trip I encountered the FRP lock on my rooted note 5. I spent the next 2 days figuring out how to fix the problem and did it with no issue. A week later when i turned my phone off it did the FRP lock again upon starting up.
I have since used Odin to restore back to 6.0.1 factory image and removed the FRP lock finally. This has now left me with my sim card not registering or my wifes either. There are no mobile network settings anymore. So i then flashed TWRP and a S8+ rom. All of which work as expected with the exception of the SIM card still.
I have tried to use a piece of paper between the sim card and sim slot to get a better connection but its no help. (No i didn't put paper over the connector plate)
Im at a loss here. I have been rooting androids since my MyTouch 3g and have never encountered an issue i couldn't fix with either Odin or ADB.
