Help After headphones connected n disconnected, ringer volume too low even if set to max.

Hi i am new to the Android family. I installed and uninstalled a couple of music players till i finally settled with ^3 (Cubed) player. I use an application called DroidShuffle to control the music player. Worked fine till a couple of days, but now i face this weird problem.

After listening to stuff and disconecting the headphones, the phone barely makes any sound. This includes ringtone, notification sounds, media volume. I can hear the sounds only if i hold the phone next to my ear.

The only solutions i found to this problem are:
- after making a call to someone, volume returns to normal
- restarting the phone solves the problem

but i have no idea about the root of the problem.

HHHEEEEEELLLLLPPPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!

As i was facing the same issue. So everytime this happens i use to cal on my number and most of the time the problem gets solved and if not restart ur phone than it works well.

But said part is this problem persist after sometime, depends on the mood of phone.

:(

Dude could u give me a list of volume-based applications you have installed on your Android?? Maybe we can check which app we have in common, and that app probably causes this problem.

i had this problem when i had a bluetooth apd2 headset and apd2 application connected and then disconnected

why do u want to use an external app for controlling volume, i'll say use default app so that memory usage will be less and changes of it crashes are also less.

i think its like with my bt headset sending a2dp, or with a music app with equalizer they take control of volume, and thats confusing the phone with what profile to switch to when you take the headset/headphone out?

like some time when i wasnt using the headset and tried playing a video it would keep switching to bt audio (really low) i had to uninstall the app to fix the (broken-fix):rolleyes:
