After latest win10 update can not connect to comp

I have a Samsung S8+ . it will connect to my work computer and transfer files. will not connect to my home computer. It will only charge when plugged into a USB port on my home computer, went into developer mode still does not connect. its set for MTB or MTD

Make sure USB Debugging is enabled on your phone.

yep that's why I went into developer mode

Go to Settings>Devices of Windows 10 and look on the left for USB and make sure it is enabled.
