Ainol Novo 7 Paladin

I downloaded Paladin_ROM_ROOT_Fix.zip but don't know how to use it. Help please!

We do not have a forum for Ainol Novo 7 Paladin.

It is very dangerous to download system files you do not know anything about. It is possible the file you have will brick (make unusable) your device or contain virus/malware.

I checked a couple other websites and no website I TRUST has a guide to rooting the Paladin.

I have no idea where this file originated. Proceed with extreme caution or abandon until a reputable site offers more info.

The zip file called Paladin_ROM_ROOT_Fix was posted by Artizx using link http://db.tt/r9hWFPMd on the forum simple root for paladin Hope that helps. If I brick this thing then so be it. Its not much use as it is.

The zip file you linked to appears to be something meant to be flashed through a custom recovery

Sadly no.

Rooting is achieved differently on different products.


In general:

1. Install CWM or AGAT, I do not even know if CMW/AGAT custom recovery has been ported over to your Paladin.

2. Boot into custom recovery

3. Backup any important data then do a factory wipe

4. Install zip [find your file]

There is no way for me to give you specific instructions. You re taking all responsibility for your device, we have no idea on the legitimacy of your file.
