Alarm Apps NOT working after phone is asleep randomly

Every since I started using my S9, my primary Alarm App (AlarmClockPlus) will occasionally not go off as it should or more likely, goes off 5, 10, or 15 min later than it is set. I tried the app AMDroid with the same issue. So, it must be my phone or phone setting(s). I've researched this off and on for months and do see that the overall issue is somewhat frequent and with many different apps, phones, and versions of Android. I've tried many different settings and things but it is still happening.

It does only seem to happen after my phone is asleep for several hours.

I've tried restarting my phone before I go to bed.

My battery settings:
  • Power saving mode: OFF
  • App power monitor: NOT ON / not ever clicking on SAVE POWER button
  • I have both alarm apps under the Unmonitored Apps section ("These apps can use as much power as they want ... "
Any other ideas? I'm having to use my wife's iphone as my Wake Up alarm which is frustrating and not convenient!
