Alarm Cancel

Not sure if I am doing something wrong on my S7 Edge, but if I set an alarm and then decide to cancel it the 'cancel' press withing the alarm settings just minimises the alarm screen again without actually cancelling it.

Does this feature work on anyone else's phone please?

Because the cancel button isn't for cancelling the alarm. It's for cancelling the edits you make in the alarm. This is actually unchanged in Samsung's clock app since at least the S3 from 4 years ago. So I'm guessing you weren't using a Samsung before, so the confusion is understandable.

To cancel an already set alarm, you press the little x button on the upper right corner of the box containing the alarm to delete the alarm.

Thank you. You are right, this is my first Samsung. All makes sense now.
