Alarm Clocks...

Perhaps it seems inapposite to post in a smartphone forum an article about *not* using a smartphone as alarm clock, but especially given the context, this is spot-on.

I also thought about dropping this into the interesting articles thread, but IMHO it's deserving of more exposure than it would get there. Besides, there is some discussion to be had outside the confines of the article, as I have too many times fallen prey to the siren's call of connectivity from the bedside table, and that thread really doesn't work well in that context.

With that, I give you the link to this excellent article.

I still have a radio alarm clock on my bedside table. It's there for the many times I accidentally turn my phone alarm off instead of pressing snooze while I'm still half asleep. If that one goes off it's out of bed, clothes on and straight out the door.

I have a television, a playstation vita, a playstation three, a comp to tell me what time it is. Well I wake up by the sun. Go and call me "That one mutta who will not shut up." :P
