Alarm did not go off

I have an alarm that goes off every day at the same time but today it did not go off. I went to check on the alarm and I'm sure that it was turned on. I even checked before I went to bed last night. I restarted my phone this morning and tested my alarm to ring in 1 minute and it worked but I my phone was unlocked. Any ideas what could be the cause? And will it happen again? I have to take medication every day on time and I don't want this happening again.

Check your weekends settings for the alarm

Could also be a one time glitch. Restarting the phone may have fixed the temporary issue that phone may have had.

Always have a backup if an alarm is needed. I use the phone to wake me up but i also have a backup alarm on another device just in case.
