Help Alarm Shortcut

Is there a quick way to get to the alarm setting on the clock, or must you go to the clock and then select alarm? It's not too much of a big deal but I don't keep the clock on any of the home pages.

I also have some confusion about when the briefing will actually play. I have the device on vibrate constantly, but certainly want the alarm to go off. Is that possible? The manual implies this is can be done in Silent Mode:

Silent mode: Activate Silent mode to make your device
vibrate or mute all sounds, except for media sounds and
alarm ringtones.

I did some more experimentation and found the Alarm will in fact go of while in Vibrate mode.

I also found out that tapping on the hours on the clock in my Apex Launcher takes you to the Clock.

I set new alarm times using s-voice. Works really well for this. I have an NFC sticker the stand next to my bed that automatically turns down all sound and brings up the alarm clock so that I only need to dim the screen.

Certainly. I am using the Fancy Widgets for the weather, and you can make the the screen sensitive to where you tap on the widget. If you tap the time, it takes you to the clock. If you tap on the current conditions, it takes you to the forecast etc.

Can anyone comment on Silent vs. Vibrate?

Vibrate mode is exactly the same as silent mode except it vibrates. This is true on all phones
