Alarm similar to Blackberry Standby function

Hello everyone, I searched a few keywords and didn't come up with anythng on this subject.

I've used blackberry's for a long time now and love one feature of it. The Standby mode that you can put the phone into and the only notification that will bull it out is the alarm clock.

I've found a few alarms that will disable notifications......except calls.....well I don't want any notifications through the night. Only the alarm waking me up in the morning.

Is anyone familiar with an existing app that puts the phone in a low energy sleep that only wakes it up for the alarm clock?

I dunno if this is what you're looking for, but the default alarm clock works for me, whether I simply turn the ringer down to zero (typically), or shut off all the radios (called "airplane mode"), the alarm has sounded loudly for me in either case, with nothing else making noise or waking me up throughout the night.

Edit: FWIW, I use the Droid so I can't speak to how the other Android models work.

I've used a combination of Locale and the standard alarm clock which works well for me.

It is set up on my device so that my phone doesn't ring between 10pm and 7am unless a certain number calls and the alarm is set to go off at 6am regardless.

Droid does not have that function. the closest thing you could do would be airplane mode and the alarm clock should still ring. should be close to the same power drain would think.Search "airplane mode" in androlib.com or timeriffic as it can be set to do that and a lot more. i use it to change my volume at night.
