Alarm (Snoozed)

My Samsung Note 3 has just begun showing "Alarm (Snoozed) Alarm set for 12:00 PM" on the screen every time I click the "Home" button. However, when I go to the Clock/Alarm page there 1) no alarm showing and 2) I can find no process for removing this notification.

This notification began showing yesterday (I believe) as a result of an alarm set for 12:00 PM ringing while I was on the phone. I just ignored the alarm and then when I got off the other line the notification began showing up on my screen.

Anyone have any suggestions on how I might be able to delete this notification? Thanks you in advance for your response(s).

Force stop the app (settings/apps/clock/force stop), or reboot your phone

Or press on the notification and see if there's any option to remove it

Thank you so much for your response. As you could probably tell by my question, I am not a highly technically-minded individual!

I did a reboot on my phone and it has cleared the issue. Have a great day.
