Alarm sound for LG G STYLO

I know I have done it before, but why can't I change my alarm sound anymore on my phone ? Im trying to set an alarm for tomorrow morning and I wanted to change my tone but there is no option or way to do it anymore i looks like.

What the shell!!!!???? is it like this for anybody else? Any help would be incredibly useful.
 
Do a recovery, then factory reset. Reboot . Check your sound operations . Then when it works , advance restore "Data partition" . When sounds and operation works again . Reboot recovery , wipe cashe and dalvik , make a new back up . Then reboot and delete old recovery. Good luck hope this works for you.
 
Wow I have no idea what any of that means..... I'm sure it's super helpful but I don't understand it at all

Ok lets start with your device and os version.
 
Pull down the device bar.
Slide to the left.
Tap edit.
Check volume.
Tap gear to the right of the speaker.
Set your volume level.

Thanks but that isn't what I'm looking to do at all. I want to change my alarm sound as in make it something other than what it is right now but I can't there are no options to do so.
 
When you say alarm sound do you mean alarm clock alarm? If thats it you set it in clock. The other sounds are in settings/sounds and notifications. If that doesn't work do a factory reset by going to settings/General/backup and reset , then do the above.

just touch where it says melody alarm...or whatever yours happens to say...and then you should be able to pick whichever sound you want to use...works on my stylo

It's the same on mine as well. The others must be on boost/virgin, different stock apps maybe?
 
im on metropcs but i just remembered im actually using the google clock...i dont see why it would be all that different on the stock lg clock app though?

Looks like user error. lol I just checked again and if you scroll up, all the options are there. The way the screen looks, it's a little deceiving.

Iam super late on this ..you probably already figured it out but when u go to set ur alarm at the bottom you will see... Sun Mon tue Wed thurs Fri Sat...scroll down and then you will see alarm sound and tone.:)

If you haven't figure how to change the to on the lg g stylo yet, what you need to do is to delete all the alarm you had. The create a new one. After setting up the time for this new alarm, scroll down, you'll find the option to change the tone!
