Being older and only a little tech savvy please how do you turn the alarm off on the Ideos U8150?? the only thing we could do was actually physically turn OFF the phone but surely that isnt how to do it????? I have read the instruction book nothing in there so ????????????????
 
Hi Patsymac, What alarm are you referring to?
Settings > Sounds - you have the choice for Silent - Vibrate - Volume - Phone ringtone - Notification ringtone - Audible touch tones -Audible selection - Screen lock sounds -Haptic feedback
There is no where an Alarm/sound is shown.
When does this alarm go off?
What does it sound like?
Do you have the Clock App in use?
When the clock is displayed on screen - bottom left shows icon of alarm clock. Touch that icon and it will display another screen for you to adjust. Touch your Menu > Settings > Touch Alarm in silent mode. You should see a green tick in the box.
That should fix it. Neil.
 
Hi Gundam168, You have the option to select several different alarm noises including Silent Mode with Vibrate.
All instructions for use of the U8150 Ideos Smartphone are in the User Manual which you can Download from Huawei. There are 48 pages contained in this Manual. I'll try and locate the link and post it later. Neil.

Thanks but it's not a complaint. I was just saying the alarm of the Ideos is loud compared to my other 2 Androids.
 
Hi Gundam168, I understand - I agree about the output but I thought I would add the info for the Thread starter (Patsymac).
I have another HD in my comp which has the Huawei Downloads on. I've emailed Huawei as they seem to have taken all reference to Ideos U8150 off their web site.
I had previously been able to access both the User Manual and the FAQ's Manual download links and now they have changed.
I'll Post the info as soon as I can. Neil.

I actually have a pdf copy of the U8150 manual (V100R001_01 31010DMU) I just don't know how to share it here in the forums.
