Alcatel 5044R Moving apps to SD Card...

Have yet to find the correct path to move apps. Have found in "settings:"

- Notifications
- Sound
- Apps
65 Apps installed
All Apps

- Accuweather... options are: uninstall or force stop
Storage
60.39MB used in internal storage
Data usage
Permissions
Notifications
Open by default
Battery

Nowhere can I find the pathway to moving apps to 32GB SD card. Hoping for guidance

If there is not button to change the storage for the app, then it can't be moved.

If you can root yout phone, a third-party app like Link2sd could help moving stuffs to SD card.

Much thanks for the reply. Have wanted to root the phone but as of this writing the best offerings seemed too risky. If there is something new and reliable I would want to know about it.

You could try some "one click root" apps, there is no risk.

Those apps are banned from the store so you may have to install from APK.

The Alcatel idealXCITE (5044R) is quite a recent Android 7.x Nougat phone, maybe updated to 8.x Oreo, which I'm pretty sure can't be rooted with so-called "one click root" vulnerability exploit apps. Also phones made by TCL are very well locked down, and so quite frankly I think root maybe impossible to achieve for the OP. With been a budget device, unfortunately it's only got 8GB of internal storage.
