I'm in the process of covering Got Me Wrong, and since the chorus is the hardest part, I'm posting it here hoping for some criticism.

Unfortunately, there's nothing I can do about the power of my voice at those high notes. But I don't think anyone could match Layne anyways

My only recommendation, and this is from a non-musical person, would be to put your own spin and feel to it somehow. Do the song justice and modernize it and make it as your own (if that makes sense).

I usually do that with any other covers, bit when it comes to alice in chains, I just do those for the sheer enjoyment. Their style is what I like, and if I can pull of a cover without sounding exactly alike, then im moving in the right direction. Thats just how I see it. But thanks man!
