so my SGS2 came in today (super awesome BTW) and i would like to load it up with all my apps that were on previous htc desire.

do i need to re-install each app separately?
i was hoping for a 'download all apps to your new phone' kinda option.

any ideas?

ps, i'm even using the same SD card in the phone so i should be able to get all saved games back right?

Yes, however you can use an app like AppBrain, which makes a list of your apps on the old phone. Then you install AppBrain on the new one, and that list will come up, allowing you to download them all from a list, rather than searching one by one.

No. Saved games usually aren't saved to the SD card. They are saved in the system folder on the phone. Unless you are rooted and use Titanium Backup to backup the app, you will likely lose the saved games.

all great tips, thanks, will try the apbrain thing.

so sucky with the games :( i was 4 levels away from beating EVERY ACHIEVEMENT in robot defense so i lost literally weeks of play time :(
