All attachments in HTC email app are corrupted?

I haven't had any problems as far as corruption goes, but try going to your email account on the browser and see if that helps.
I don't get a 'download' button on gmail, I get a 'preview' button instead, which is why I have a bookmark to gmail on my browser.

Are you talking about your gmail app? I don't have any problems with that. I am talking about my htc email app. Going to the browser is not a problem, other than the major inconvenience of going to my browser, instead of having it right there in my email app.
Does onlyone else have problems viewing attachments in their HTC email app?

I just sent myself an email with a .jpg file and it downloaded and opened correctly. This doesn't help you any, but I'm going to use it instead of the gmail app.

Yes, the email app, not the gmail app, on my HTC Evo.
I'm only connected to gmail and yahoo accounts, am not connected to an exchange server.
Thanks. I am running my gmail account through the exchange account. hmmm....
