I have tried out like half a dozen dialer apps and they all have different UIs up until I start a call, then they all apparently hand off to the same (crappy) UI component that runs by default from Google Phone too. Is there any app I can download that would replace this screen (that is, the one I see during the call, with mute button, duration counter etc) with something better? thanks for any advice --- Joseph

How many of those actually have different in-call user interfaces, which was the original comment? Most of the images there don't show an in-call UI.
