Hi
Apologies if this has been raised before somewhere
What i am after is a all in one app that i can look at my twitter/facebook account, is good on memory and battery life, also one that can be run from the SD card?
I have tried tweetdeck but it keeps crashing when i am logged into my facebook account, dont have this when using tweetdeck on the PC or Iphone.
Is there any other decent apps that i can try?
Thanks for the info
Lee

I have looked into finding an app that does both and was unsuccessful but i use launcherpro plus and the social network widget can show both

I've been looking for one for a while. Probably tried 7-8 app/widget. App wise, TweetDeck is the best I've tried and is my choice now. Widget wise I still haven't found one that I like. LPP had the best widgets except LPP freezes whenever it refreshes the widgets so they are unusable. The paid version of "colorize widget" has a timeline widget that mixes face/twitter in one stream but it doesn't look as good as LPP's.

Hi Lee, I am using TweetDeck and I never have problem with FB. My only issue with TweetDeck is not allowing me to switch my FB account. So I suspect the problem is on your phone.

Now that TweetDeck is owned by Twitter. They are probably not going to enhance the interface with Facebook.

Anyway, I also have Seesmic on my phone which is as good as TweetDeck. It allows you to access both Twitter and Facebook in one app. You might want to check it out.

Hi
thanks all for your suggestions, have tried seesmic and like it so far
going to try LPP soon to see what that is like

Pure Messenger shows facebook, twitter, and gmail in a variety of customizable widgets with skins. I dig it.

I use a combination of LPP Friend's Widget and Seesmic... the first for combined Twitter and FB feeds, the second for heavy lifting.

I notice you use an HTC phone. Have you tried FriendStream?

Yes i have but dont really like it, it is a bit slow when updating and it is limited on what it can do + it also downloads all of my twitter followers, which then eats in to the phone memory.:confused:
Anyway i have tried LPP but not really keen on it, little bit laggy on my phone, i do prefer and use Go lanucher, so hopefully they may do a FB/Twitter feed widget soon.

Going to have a look at Pure Messenger, thanks melissapugs:)

Also found another good one yesterday Taptu, so far so good:)
