all paid apps for 9.99 a year?

If it seems to good to be true, it probably is. Always remember that :) Some apps like the documents to go one are 29.99. I doubt its a legit site. But then again, I'm just speculating. Can anyone confirm/deny? Thanks

I'm assuming they are just pirated. Taking the .apk's from the phone, and posting them up.

Means you won't get any updates through market, as you'll have to install them manually, and I wouldn't expect the sites to be around for that full year.

And no, devs won't see a penny from pirated software.

"Means you won't get any updates through market, as you'll have to install them manually"

^^^^^^not sure that's true^^^^^

Or worst case scenario, they just steal your credit card number and use it 3-6 months down the road when you forgot about it... I'd never buy from a non-reputable spammer... The fact that they spam on everyone's comments should be a clue...

Yes it is true. When you purchase an app, it registers with the Market so you can receive updates. If you install a paid app manually, it won't register in the Market as you have not bought it.

Personal experience. I like to try a program before I purchase it. A program will still say "buy" even if it's already been installed. I did it with beautiful widgets and a couple others before purchasing them.

And why do you think that you can redownload the same program without purchasing it again after say a reset?

Hey guys, I can confirm that I tried this site out, you can get apps but they are stolen, devs don't get a cut, but the site makes sure to check for updates which they post back on the site for you to check. There site is down now for changes and there saying there not sure when they will open up but in the coming months which makes me very suspicious about this site.

They probably received a seize and desist and they are finished. I hope nobody gives these scumbags your money even if you are going to pirate. You can get any .apk with a google search and hopefully if you do go that route, you will pay for it after trying and liking it.

I agree, as a programmer myself, it's a lot of hard work and frustration going into these programs. They are 1-2 dollars mostly, support them so they can keep pushing updates.

I always report their comments as spam.

If you are going to pirate a 2 dollar app, why would you pay $10 when you can get it for free?

It's a shame that they resort to this. Some devs do this as a means of providing for their families. Please support devs by purchasing apps from the market.

Believe he was referencing my explanation, not the site for the apps.

Possibly, but better safe than sorry.

All - Please make sure to NOT post links to these questionable sites.

yeah the site does indeed work ($9.99 promo)
all apps are updated to the newest version so you simply need to redownload but selection is large and easy to download/install
I warn you though, this is indeed pirating and does not contribute any money back to devs.

"Yea guys, this site's legit!!"

Three months later....
"Why am I missing three thousand dollars from my checking account...."

Was stealing a three dollar app worth it?

i used to go the google route to search for .apk's then morality kicked in.

now i do it to test it for a couple days TOPS.. i dont have a credit card so actually i just browse the apps and delete them.

if i do like it, i recommend it to friends.

there's a ton of free stuff that gets me through the day to be honest!!!!

i'm actually waiting for them to link the market to your VZW bill, then i will probably be in trouble!!
