Already switched to an Uncarrier plan

These are live already. Changed this morning from an old Family Value Plan 2 lines unlimited talk + text + 2GB data each for $100/mo. to a new 'Uncarrier' Value Plan 2 lines unlimited talk + text + 500mb each for $80/mo. Got to keep our 15% AAA discount so I actually pay about $68/mo. + tax, etc. NICE! Even includes free Mobile Hot Spot (tethering) I'll never use. We use a lot of minutes for business but mostly use wifi for data so it's perfect for us.

Anyone else take advantage of the new deals yet?

If you have 5 people in your group, the unlimited plan is a better deal than solavei. Truly unlimited data (beyond 4GB) for every person, and less than $45 per person? Am I reading this correctly?

If anyone is looking to get a group together, let me know. I'm interested in joining up.

I don't think so. That would be 1 unlimited data ($70) + 1st additional line @500mb data ($30) + 3 more lines @500mb data ($10+$10+$10). You have to add $20 each for unlimited data on the 4 additional lines. So...

$70+$50+30+30+30 = $210 for 5 totally unlimited lines. Tethering is an extra charge on unlimited data but included with lower data packages. Still a VERY good price.

T-Mobile is offering really good deals but they haven't gone insane.

Oh yeah I see now, I didnt look @this part.
The Value Family plan is priced out for 2 lines including data, with lines 3, 4 & 5 an additional $10 plus their own data add-on. In other words, every line for the 3rd, 4th and 5th lines require its own data package as there

Well no data on lines 3,4,5 makes the whole deal pretty different. lol

I was planning on getting an N4 from Google play after the first, but I might get it from T-Mobile now. The final cost is $100 more, but at only $49 down, it will really save me money in the meantime. And I really need that right now. If I get it from Google play, I'll be broke the rest of the month, this way I won't be. I think it might be worth it.

You won't get direct updates from Google though. You'd have to wait for T-Mobile. So have fun rooting and rom'ing if you want to update.

Yes he will get updates from Google. There's no difference whatsoever between a T-Mobile-bought N4 and a Google-bought N4 except the price. They're 100% identical units and will get updates accordingly.

Which makes it crazy how T-Mobile is charging $100 extra, just for buying it through them.

Well it's still cheaper than anywhere else. And it's still cheaper than a GS3, Note 2, or any other top Android. But yeah, if google was still out of them it would be one thing, but now it's only worth it for the advantage of only paying $49 down.
