Alternative to Android Lock Screen?

I would really like an unlock screen that requires a code (much like the iphone one). I find that the unlock pattern is not as effective due to the fact that the screen smudges, allowing others to see what your pattern is. Any suggestions?

Are you really worried that someone will care enough to try and figure out your smudge mark? If so, wipe your screen after you unlock and the problem is solved.

1. lock 2.0 has a four digit unlock option.
2. wave secure has all kinds of security options in the event someone stole your phone. you can lock it down, wipe the phone clean, or turn on the gps and track down your phone. all of this is done remotely.
