It also can put your phone notifications onto your pc, and allow you to easily push files and pushbullet messages among all your devices.
Personally for privacy / security reasons, I use it only for the files and pushbullet messages. My SMS and notifications can carry critical info like dual verification messages which I'd rather keep on my phone. So:
1 - I don't grant that app the notifications access in Android security settings
2 - I turn off the SMS permissions in Android Xposed App Ops module
3 - On PC, I use the add-on for Firefox, not Chrome since my more sensitive / critical applications (like gmail) are accessed through pc chrome.
