Alternatives to Launch-X Pro?

I'm looking for an alternative to this homescreen widget.

I want a widget that is a single row like launch-x, but scrolls up/down or side/side to access more apps instead of using a button to select between them.

Kind of the way the dock works on Launcher Pro, just a movable widget.

Did you ever have any luck finding an alternative? I love this program, but as Android has progressed, this has been left behind.
