Always listening

I am always using the always listening feature, the issue is watching TV or YouTube sets it off.. Anyone have any tips for me to cut down on it turning on when I don't want it too.

I use it on the Droid Maxx all the time. I was surprised. I find it really useful.

I didn't like the phrase "OK Google Now" that forced me to say Google so often. So I experimented. I found that I could teach it "OK Droid Now" and then the kickoff phrase would simply be "OK Droid" like "OK Droid Weather".

Mine misfires about once a month.

I suggest you spend some time training and re-training and see if you can reduce the frequency of the misfires.

Re-train it in a very, very quiet area and hold it at arms length. It's very sensitive and will 'hear' any background noise and try to match it later.

I don't have mine trained for "OK Google Now" either, that did help cut down on the random activations too.
